Ya Never Know Watcha’ll Find Here!

Boomer and I are enjoying our Danger Bay Collectible MugsImage Boomer’s Back Porch Boomer, Daisy, Jay, © 2007 New Codgers of organically & shade-grown, fair-trade, French-roast coffee, this fine Saint Paul, Minnesota morning on Boomer’s back porch, where Boomer’s “Pruett’s Pig Powders” replica thermometer indicates that it is 54ºF, and our lens-assisted eyes quickly confirm that the sky is clear. C’mon up and join us—there’s plenty of this fine brew, just inside and to your right. The mugs are on the counter.

As we travel about the “blogosphere,” we can’t help but notice that most of the blogs are topic-driven—politics, humor, rants, business, and many, many other topics.

This blog is different. We may pontificate from our respective back porches (and soon from a local café/coffee shop), about almost anything that strikes our fancy, Boomer may write about his family history, or we may add to our cheesy stories in our cyber-village of “Danger Bay.” You never really know what you may find when you stop by. Heck, we never really know what we’re going to post about next!

We strongly encourage reader participation, and don’t moderate the comments (thus far it hasn’t been necessary). Comments don’t necessarily have to be related to the subject of the post, because some of the best we’ve received on another blog, were off topic and generated a whole other conversation between readers, but they do have to be civil.

If you find that a place where you may linger just a bit, enjoy a conversation, and speak your mind is of some value to you, this is that place!

    Bob: Thanks. A lot. WOW!

  4. I was talking to my neighbor across the street who is a retired Accountant in his 80’s and found out he is from Minnesota…so guess what? I gave him the link to “Our Saint Paul” so he could come visit.

He may be a little blog shy – but I hope he gets enough nerve to comment. Ted has the best jokes ever….and his repertoire never runs out. I think he would feel right at home here with us.

  5. Ines: Ted need not be shy here! Boomer & I would welcome a Minnesota ex-pat’s point of view – and jokes! WARNING! Reading this blog may cause one to develop a Minn-e-soda accent – you betcha! ;-)

  6. I was visiting Bob this morning and he pointed me in this direction. Danger Bay is alive and well I see…
