(Danger Bay Episode 25B)
From Episode 25: “I’m glad that’s over,” Jay whispered to Boomer as they departed. He was wrong.
“Boy, am I glad to be to be back in Saint Paul!” Boomer said as we rounded the corner on our way to Joe’s Café this fine but a cool 49º Saint Paul morning, “Oh crap! Look at what’s parked in front of Joe’s.”
“Big A’s stretch limo,” I answered, “How’d that happen?”
“I have no idea,” Boomer replied as we walked up to the door, “I did have a little trouble installing the block, it took two attempts before it loaded.”
“Morning fellas, we’re back,” I greeted, anticipating that first mug of fresh, hot organically and shade-grown, free-trade, Sumatran-roast coffee, “Where’s Amb…”
“He left in a flash of light shortly after you did,” Carl said, “He must have been the ‘Codger’ from Danger Bay.”
“And that’s just about the time this big, cranky fella came through the door,” added Fred.
“Welcome to the Real World,” Boomer greeted, “Mr. Biggass.”
“What can we do for you?” I asked smiling.
“The name’s Simpson,” the big guy replied, “Allen Stanley Simpson.”
“As you wish,” Boomer replied.
“You guys need to get out of Danger Bay,” Big A rumbled, “or there will be big trouble.”
“We certainly hope so!” rumbled Carl, rubbing his hands together in anticipation.
“Bring it on!” laughed Fred.
“We WANT big trouble in Danger Bay,” Boomer added.
“That is why you exist,” I said, placing my mug on the counter, “We look forward to trouble in Danger Bay.”
“I’ll give you ‘trouble’ right now!” Big A threatened, “I could squish you old coots with one hand tied behind my back!”

Thus ends our little “cross worlds” adventure. Danger Bay now becomes our version of Friday Comics, the balance of the week will alternate “Back Porch” and Old Men & Coffee Shops” posts. We will probably take this weekend off from posting to prepare for next week’s adventures.

OK – let me get this straight. Danger Bay will only be posted on Fridays? That big A is a really big A……..I’m glad you can “poof” him away like that.

Lysa: Cool, huh? From here on, cyber characters may no longer venture into the Real World. We thought it would be fun to return home to find Big A there waiting for us. It was.
I want a piece of Big A! At least my cyber-Mac does.
