GotBob’s good job Dissed

Big A meets Chris and Buttons
Chris noticed Simpson, and as if nothing unusual was occurring, her apparent conversation with Buttons notwithstanding…“Good day, sir, I don’t believe I’ve met you. I just arrived a couple of days ago, name’s Chris, and this is Buttons.”
“Um—Simpson, Allen Stanley Simpson, at your service.”
“A pleasure, Mr. Simpson.”
“Were you…um…just talking to that dog—and the dog…”
“Answered? Why yes, yes I was, and she was…you didn’t understand her?”
“Dogs don’t talk, ma’am.”
“Apparently, they do here.”
“Oh…OK…umm…I have an appointment at Farkleberry’s—you’ll excuse me?’
And the astonished and puzzled “Big A” did just that, leaving an equally puzzled Chris in his wake. “I thought everyone here understood ‘Canine,’ Wonder why he can’t…poor fellow.”
“He’s a jerk, Alpha-peopledog Chris!”
“Buttons!”
Chapter VIII—Episode 6
Buttons just wagged her tail slowly in response to Chris’ admonishment—she knew she was right, and suspected Alpha-peopledog Chris knew it too. She was right.
Chris looked up from her little friend in time to see Simpson disappear into the nearby Ship’s Chandlery. “Buttons, that guy is trouble.”
Jeff set about personalizing his quarters in the basement of Swig’s—soon to be known far and wide as the “iSuite,” due in part, aw heck—due completely to his love of most things i-related. There were legends in the making here, Gentle Reader—legends.
After no small amount of effort, Bob had things in order, bed, dresser and other necessities added to his room for his expected new roommate, DJDale. It would be cramped, but not totally unlivable. “Besides, this is only temporary, right?”
Bob got no answer to his question, a frequent occurrence it was understood around the village, especially when he is alone.
About the same time, Boomer & DJDale arrived at the Cabin-on-the-Rock, where DJ backed the Datsun into its usual spot next to Big Mac’s vintage Mustang. As the two walked up the path to the cabin, Dale paused. “Y’know, I could use some wheels here…”

Boomer & DJ arrive at the Cabin
“Why?”
“The village is more spread out then I imagined, so having a ride would be helpful.”
“Good point, we’ll see what can be done.”
They entered the cabin’s great room to find Bob waiting for them, smiling broadly. “Your temporary, emphasis on temporary quarters are ready for you—sir.”

Greatroom with Boomer, DJ & GotBob
“Ummmm…”
“What?”
“Er….Boomer?”
“Bob, Dale won’t need to bunk in your room after all.”
“But…I worked…so…”
“I’m sorry—truly sorry. Daisy, help Got out, willya?”
“You could have told me, y’know.”
“I could have…but look at the bright side, by the time you’re done fussing, Daisy will have your room back to normal.”
“Fussing?”
“Are you done?”
“FUSSING?”
“You’re right, thanks for your work, and I am….sorry that I….um….forgot….yeah that’s it….forgot to tell you.”
Will Bob EVER forgive Boomer for “forgetting?”
Will DJDale get some “wheels?”
Will Jeff ever have enough iStuff?

Dale Wheels? Hope for a change of clothes!!!
LOL… okay how long do we need to wait for the next installment??
Don’t complain Bob or Jack will put your sunglasses back on!
“his love of most things i-related” is not accurate. I would change most to all.
Can Bob come hang with me in the basement sometime? He likes gadgets too.
Hmmmm. A DJ, gadgets, mojitos & a cool basement pad. There’s a party brewing here — or is life always a party in Danger Bay? Staying tuned…
Can’t wait to see the isuite all decked out party room for sure. Can we all fit?
I think DJ needs a vintage truck (orange maybe) with stations call letters on it!
What is Big Al up to if Buttons doe not like him something is wrong.
John: As long as I write GotBob’s dialog—he’ll have some trouble with that “chilling” thing.
Got: You got a change of clothes—where’s the beef?
Monika: Tomorrow.
Ines: Or worse. LOL!
Jeff: He can…are you sure that’s what you want?
Elaine: Pretty much a party.
Chris: Big “A” has never been up to good….he is our villain for certain.
I don’t know which is worse now…being at the mercy of Boomer or falling under the wrath of Mt Bloggious, T.
Doomed either way I guess.
Got: Today you receive a fine brew from Big Mac’s stash for all your effort! You WILL enjoy it…right?
