Philomena Boardman

Previously:

Danger Bay Adventure Cruise Company operations & ticket office—located on the largest wharf is the world headquarters of that operation. Pictured in front of the building are Trigg Guudelender and Captain Molly Halloran. Halloran is the very first character created and both date back to 2006 on the blogsite, Active Rain.

Meanwhile—at the boarded-up restaurant… Susan called the number listed for the Realtor® and after a couple of rings “Moosehead County Realty, this is Philomena Boardman—How may I help you?”

Season 8—Chapter 2—The Harbor—Episode 4:

We rejoin Chris & Susan at the abandoned restaurant…Chris and Susan didn’t notice the 1958 Thunderbird driving by as at that same moment, Susan learned from the listing agent, Philomena Boardman, two things—Philomena Boardman was the cyber-spinster-cousin of Boomer—and more importantly—the little house next door went with the restaurant!

Chris & Susan didn't notice the Thunderbird parked in the lot.

Chris & Susan didn’t notice the Thunderbird

Had they noticed the car, and the “Custom by Farkleberry” logo on the rear fender, they may have deduced the driver of the car just might be Grey Eagle James Silverthorn on his way to visit his family for the weekend—then again, GENTLE READER, I too would not have noticed, considering the deal the restaurant might be.

Susan handed the phone to Chris, “She says ‘dual-agency’ is prohibited in cyberspace, and that I need a licensed agent.”

Chris took the phone, “Hi, I’m Chris Shouse, and I’ll be representing Susan.”

One moment, Chris,” Philomena said pleasantly. And a moment later, “I had to check, you understand, Chris. I found you in the CAR (Cyberspace Association of REALESTATORS®). I’m sending you the information you will need. Please let me know when we can get together.”

We’ll get back to you in an hour or so,” Chris replied and after a couple of the usual phone-pleasantries, ended the call and turned to Susan, “Let’s head back to Silverthorn’s Café and work up an offer.”

Meanwhile—at Silverthorn’s Café… “Hi Gramma, Gramps, I’m HUNGRY!”

Grey Wolf James Silverthorn arrived at Silverthorn's Café

Jimmy!” Kiwidinok Silverthorn exclaimed, she was always glad to see a grandchild—and in this case—her only grandchild.

Greetings, Grey Wolf,” Hiram beamed for much the same reason, “How’s life as a restaurant executive?”

It pretty-much sucks.”

Methinks thinks Fluttermatters that if those who matter wish they too had known your grandparents. Alas the opportunity to improve the historical lineage of the brown and white passed as dusk does to morning.

The property is in foreclosure…we just don’t know what the bank will accept. There are plenty of fishin’ boats in the harbor, so you’ll be able to get out on the lake and go where the fish are. :-P
