“When do you start with Seven Tables?”
“I’ll be meeting with Susan there around nine this morning, Dad, for a bit of orientation, then I’m returning to Duluth to pick up my things, clean the apartment and give notice to the property manager. I’m on the hook for a month’s rent but this opportunity is worth it.”
“Do you need any help?”
“No, Ma, thanks. It’s just an efficiency apartment. It’ll take me about an hour to clean it to perfection. I’ll ask the manager to inspect it before I leave.”
A few hours later at Seven Tables in Williams’ Station… “It’s done, Susan, it’s all yours!”
“That bank representative seemed surprised to have a cash sale.”
Season 8—Chapter 2—The Harbor—Episode 12—Conclusion:
Continuing our story at Seven Tables in Williams’ Station…“She’s used to people defaulting on loans, I guess,” Chris replied, “I can’t get over we go from signing the paperwork to closing here in cyberspace.”

“That is a little unsettling. But it’s nice not to have wait weeks for a deal to close; now I can get to work.”
“That is a little unsettling. But it’s nice not to have wait weeks for a deal to close; now I can get to work.”
“And I am going to go home, visit with the critters (especially Buttons), have a leisurely dinner (maybe with Mr. Earp), and then sleep the sleep of the dead. This has been a very-long few days.”
Meanwhile—at Silverthorn’s Café—a Family Meeting… “We must not lose sight of the Cartel in our excitement over the new restaurant and the return of Grey Wolf,” Kiwi more or less brought her family back to the troubling reality, “I have overhead conversations about that small casino in Moosehead City.”
“Wellll—that’s one way to crash a nice high, Ma,” Sam laughed, “But I’m sure my fifteen-minute older brother would agree…”

“I have overhead conversations about that small casino in Moosehead City.”
“He would. From what my sources tell me, they are still looking for locals to help with the takeover,” Hiram, Jr. had been doing some digging, “Not the least of which, the boss of the operation has been replaced—replaced by a very ruthless fellow out of New Orleans, Phillip Bigg. Sheriff McCoy has told me that Bigg is not to be underestimated.”
“We need to get some of our people undercover,” Kiwi was thinking out loud, and find a way to shut down that casino in Moosehead City.”
“Oh—there IS a way, and I’m embarrassed not to have thought of it sooner!” Hiram exclaimed.
