From Danger Bay—Episode 29: “Along the way to where?” Hiram insisted.

Miami!” Molly answered with gusto.

As if on cue, MV Sparrow’s Operations Manager “Miami” Maggie Dokic arrived:

“Sorry I’m late to the party,” Maggie greeted breathlessly, “I’ve been attending to RW priorities…”

“…Not a problem!” Molly, Captain of the Sparrow interrupted with a big smile, “We got your back!”

Hi Maggie!” Mac rumbled an enthusiastic greeting, “We’ve missed you.”

“I may have been a little busy in the Real World,” Maggie began, “but on my way over here, I stopped by Cooper’s General Store. Both Ines and Sarah were there, and both will be sending supplies for our voyage first thing in the morning.”

“The Chandlery,” Mac joined in, “has topped off the Sparrow’s fuel bunkers.”

“With that,” Trigg Guudlender, “we’ll not have to refuel until well after Blackfish Bay, assuming the ‘Gales of November’ don’t come early this year.”

“Stop that, Trigg!” Molly with a hint of a smile, “The Sparrow is far more storm-worthy than a fully-loaded laker!”

“How many have signed up for the voyage?” Mac asked.

“The whole village!” Hiram said, “We thought It would be great to get out on that fancy boat of yours.”

“Yep,” Maggie agreed, “Word spread fast and everyone is on the manifest.”

“Who’ll watch the town?” a flabbergasted Molly asked.

“We’ll close the village until we return,” Hiram said, “this IS cyberspace, and we can do that!”

Closing the village? No one to watch it? What about that Big A person? What if he does something sinister while everyone is down here?

Hey guys just stopping over for a visit. When I lived in Myrtle Beach back in the 70s they did close the town down after the summer. There would be about 5 months of nothing but us beach bums left. It was great!!!
