My name is Daisy Legs Boardman!

…and I am a Looong-legged Beagle-person!Daisy at Christmas ©2007 New Codgers

I was born on June 14th 2005, in a place called Iowa, my sire (father) is “Lenny Hanson,” and my Dam (mother)—a much better name than the other option for a female Beagle, is “Dixie.”

I am a member of the Boardmanpack (we dogs live in “packs”), the Alpha-male is Jack, the Alpha-female is T (trust me: there’s only one “T”), known by me as ‘Alpha T” (I’m never quite sure which one is the pack-leader—so I try to follow both). There is also Beta-Andrew (who is the Alpha-male of his very own pack, living in his pack is Beta-female “Fluffy.” Fluffy is a Springer Spaniel, and my best canine-friend), and Beta-Sarah (who is now in a place called Ireland for Christmas), and there is Beta-Tiger. Beta-Tiger is a cat, and thinks of herself as an Alpha-female—go figure!

Daisy Pup & Cyber Daisy ©2007 New CodgersYou maybe are wondering why am I posting on this blog—It is my bestest Christmas present ever! I used to sneak on the computer when Alpha-Jack wasn’t looking and write a comment on posts here and on other blogs—but I would always get caught. Beagles are by nature determined (Alpha-Jack says “stubborn”) and he wisely gave in, and made me an author on this blog (smart peopledog!).

I have been sneaking on the computer since I was a pup. The keyboard is really too small for my paws, and the mouse? Well—dogpeople don’t have opposable digits, so I have to use two paws for that. Good thing I’m a Beagledetermined, by nature!

I also have a cyber-self, a two-dimensional me that has had many adventures in cyberspace, and I appear on another blog, belonging to Alpha T, as well.

I’m getting kinda tired now—time to curl up in a “Beagle-ball” and go back to sleep. You can find my posts here under the heading “Daisy Bays,” Bow-Woo!

    Alpha T, Nope…it’s mine now!
    Chris, Merry Christmas!

  6. Linda Davis says:

I love this pup! I can even understand him. Unlike the dog on that other blog that speaks latin and requires a dictionary for the average reader like me. Good job Daisy!!! And Merry Christmas!

  7. daisylegs says:

Linda, Thank you. I learned from Alpha Jack & Alpha T that I should write to, not down to my readers (BTW: I’m a girl dog). Merry Christmas, Linda!

  8. Linda Davis says:

I came back because I realized I wrote HIM instead of HER. I wish comments could be edited by the commenter. Sorry Daisy. Woof to you.

  9. daisylegs says:

Linda, S’alright. Alpha T’s mom always refers to me as “he.” I guess dog-people are referred to as he, cat-people as she. I have my own thoughts on cat-people, especially Tiger–but it’s the season of goodwill–so I won’t.

Daisy: So THAT’S what you’ve been up to! Well, better playing online than chewing my slippers. 😉

  11. jaymerton says:

Daisy! WOW! You’re writing now? (Good move, Boomer) I miss you guys–and you too, sweet step-Beagle. 😦 I had a fine Christmas, but it just isn’t the same without the snow. Merry Christmas to ALL! 😉

  12. Ines says:

Hey Daisy!! I have a friend who had a Beagle in Venezuela with a doghouse in a tree! Yes you heard right, the Beagle would climb this tree to sleep in his doghouse, it was pretty amazing.

Enough of my story – hope you had an Incredible Christmas!

Hi Jay!! We miss you too, but it’s nice to see that you are checking in!

  13. daisylegs says:

Hi Ines, We Beagles are pretty smart–but I never heard of a one that climbs trees. I don’t know about that…but if any dog-person could climb trees, it would be a Beagledogperson!
Step-Alpha Jay called yesterday, but dog-people don’t do phones very well–the opposable digit thing again–and asked Alpha Jack to post a comment for him. I miss my walks with him.
I had so good a Christmas that my tail hurts from all the its wagging!
