Previously:
“Now what?” her tail wagging slowly, Daisy was still not sure how they’d find their people-dogs, but she had faith in her small friend.
The bus began to move in a circle and when Buttons was satisfied where the people-dogs were, the bus began to move in that direction.
It wasn’t long before Chris felt something pulling at the corner of her consciousness, nothing she could really narrow down; at least not right away. That something slowly began to become clear and looking over her shoulder, “Buttons! Buttons is coming!”
Startled by her outburst the others turned to look. They saw a pair of headlights in the distance; approaching slowly closer.
Season V—Chapter 5—Episode 16:
Soon, thanks to Buttons’ guidance all the “PeopleDogs” were safely aboard the Adventure Bus. Collie willingly gave up the driver’s seat to little Buttons as she appeared to be the only one of adventurers who was able to control the bus.
Now, the “Vacation” part of the adventure could begin…
First, they visited the Grand Canyon (that was Buttons’ choice), and they took in the spectacular view from places you or I could never go.
from there they decided to visit…
Paris! That was suggested by Mac & Collie McIntyre; they honeymooned there and hadn’t been back since.
They stopped by the River Seine, curiously enough just two blocks from the hotel where Boomer and family stayed during their visit and one block from the hotel Mac & Collie stayed some forty years ago during their honeymoon.
From Paris, Gentle Reader, we must return to happenings in and around the Port of Danger Bay:
(Previously in Danger Bay: The sheriff put out an ‘all-call’ request for assistance and all law enforcement agencies dispatched available officers to secure the area.
“We don’t know if this is a crime-scene or simply a horrible accident, Deputy, so for now, we’ll treat it as a crime-scene.”)
Doc and Karen were finally able to check the ruins and found the remains of four individuals. The remains were removed carefully and taken to the County Medical Examiner.
It would take some time before they could establish for certain who was in the cabin but the vehicles parked behind the cabin were a pretty good clue: The likely victims were determined tentatively as Bill Shadbush, Roscoe Bernhaven, Clive Smith and former Sheriff Haven.
The County Fire Marshal sent his best investigators to comb through the wreckage to determine the cause of the explosion. Initially, it was thought the likely cause was a propane tank malfunction as it’s location appeared to be the source of the explosion.
Marshal Blackmon was skeptical.

I really need a vacation. These first stops would be lovely to see in person. For now, I’ll enjoy adventuring with our adventurers.

I think the Marshal is about to become very busy as more becomes known about the explosion. Just guessing.

Methinks thinks FlutterMatters this is a variety show of canyons deep, towers tall with sticks of charcoal from a fire ball.
It all seems so in ‘Seine’. 🙂
