Benjamin couldn’t let it go, “You should knock-off the sarcasm, Renegade; Daisy did not have to accept the assignment from Ringo.”
Buttons returned the growl, “You need to back off, buster!”
“Brave barking for such a little canine,” Renegade’s tone was ominous. He bared his fangs.
Season VI, Chapter 1, Episode 7 Dog Adventure 12:
“Before you do something you’ll really regret, you should know that Cujo told us this is your last chance,” Alice barked, “You will simply cease to exist—here—and in the Great Beyond.”
“What does this mean?”
“It means you’ll be written out of this story—never to appear again—I’m writing this, y’know,” Daisy bayed with a smirk.
Not far away, in fact too close for comfort had the canines known, Snowstorm and company were finding that non-sentient wolves were none too pleased to see them. They viewed them as intruders into their territory, their hunting-grounds and they quickly attacked.
As a result, Snowstorm lost one of her companions, though she managed to defeat two of the attackers, she wisely retreated—towards Daisy and company.
“That didn’t work out well; we’ve lost Rolf.”
“Shut up Fang! These dumb wolves will be no help, they’re too stupid to perceive my greatness.”
“Perhaps what they lack in sentience they make up for in perception,” Fang thought, and then replied, “No doubt.”
“Hush! I sense a sentient wolf—nearby,” Snowstorm detected a female wolf approaching; almost silently, “Reveal yourself—or die!”
A small gray wolf came out of the brush. She was young, not even a year old, “You speak? I thought I was the only one.”
“I am Snowstorm, Queen of all sentient wolves and with me is Fang, my First WolvenKnight.”
“There is one other nearby, I sensed him and was going to find him when I sensed your presence.”
“Join us and we will hunt him, for he is a traitor and must die.”
