Too soon for everyone, they sensed their time in 2012 Danger Bay was soon to end and they began to gather at the Cabin-on-the-Rock along with several of those who would remain in 2012, Susan, the Farkleberrys and Silverthorns were all there.
Mac had prepared a celebratory meal, and of course, Susan supplied several treats from Seven Tables for them to enjoy.
The Farkleberrys reminded the time-travellers to try to get a portrait of the brothers of 1873—and to help 1873 Medlar find a bride.

“Oh Sarah, I’m secretly hoping for some excitement—maybe a couple of shoot-outs…” Chris placed her hand on her .44, emphasizing her words.
Sarah figured Chris was kidding—but her expression gave Sarah no clue.
The news that Grand Marais was essentially closed to out-of-work desperados spread quickly, but the money being offered for their services was too good to ignore—so they adapted.
“Good day sir, I’ve just come in from Duluth with a shipment of horses for a Mr. Spenser…”
Season VI, Chapter 2, Episode 14:
“Good day, Mister…”
“Ah…sorry, Fensterwald, Chauncey Marion Fensterwald the Third, at your service.”
“Pleased to meet you, Mr. Fensterwald, I am William Fairborne Fauntleroy, Justice of the Peace and owner/operator of the Grand Marais Hotel,” Judge Fauntleroy nodded towards Deputy Kidd, slightly, as he replied, “Did the dockmaster inform you that all shipments must be checked by an official of the town before unloading?”
“He did, that was my next question; where might I find one?”
“Perhaps I can help you,” Deputy Town Marshal Kidd had been watching and listening to the conversation, “I am just such an official. Let’s go check out your shipment.”
As Kidd finished inspecting the horses, he inspected the wagons and heard a cough coming from the back of the rear wagon—and ignored it—sort of.
He motioned to Fensterwald to join him several feet away from the wagon, “For a small ‘inspection fee’ Mr. Fensterwald, I won’t notice that there are several men hiding in the wagons.”
