As Kidd finished inspecting the horses, he inspected the wagons and heard a cough coming from the back of the rear wagon—and ignored it—sort of.
He motioned to Fensterwald to join him several feet away from the wagon, “For a small ‘inspection fee’ Mr. Fensterwald, I won’t notice that there are several men hiding in the wagons.”
