“Welcome back, Erik,” Boomer laughed, “What’s brilliant?”
“As far as I know neither this Kidd fellow nor McLintock were ever in Williams’ Station and since Susan & I are not well-known as peace officers—we could pull it off without suspicion. We’re the only ones among us who could do that.”

Season VI, Chapter 4 Predators and Victims, Episode 4:
When both Blackmon and Mac slowly began to smile, Susan & Erik knew it was time to prepare for their ruse.
“We’ll stop in the next town for a couple of days, but we must arrive separately,” Mac really liked the plan after considering it a bit, “We’ll separate in the morning with the Professor and Susan following us by an hour or two. We’ll keep the mule-train with us.”

“A hotel full of marshals is bound to cause some talk in Huron,” Deputy US Marshal Larry Yatkowsky chimed in, “and that kind of talk spreads faster than Flutters can fly.”
“Then let’s give them something to talk about,” Blackmon replied, “We’ve been ordered to go to Cheyenne, Wyoming Territory. We’ll let them speculate why.”
“Oh good,” Deputy US Marshal Boomer Jack Boardman cracked, “Something to brag about in the saloon, over a beer.”
Deputy US Marshals Cooper and Shouse simply sighed. In unison.
