Somewhere near the Kansas-Nebraska border… “I’m getting tired of the scenery,” Larry Yatkowsky groused, “Please tell me why we’re here again.”
Big Mac smiled.
Season VI—Chapter 8—Wyatt Earp, Episode 2:
“Why are you smiling?”
“The reason we are here, or at least—where we are going, Wichita—we’re scheduled to be ambushed and killed there by Wyatt Earp.”
“I shouldn’t have asked.”

“You’re right, Carpenter. You go find the council members and the mayor, Jay and I will chat with Philistine Bulgebottom.”
“He won’t go easily,” Jay though out loud.
At Coldwater Ranch… Doc Shouse had been monitoring the telegraph room in the hidden lower level of the Coldwater ranch house, when she heard a most distressing message coming from Wichita, and responded to from the telegraph office in Murdo. She quickly wrote down the gist of both the message and the reply, “Sarah! You gotta read this!”
Sarah quickly read the messages, “Oh no!”
