“Boomer! You’re ALIVE!”

Previously:

That Big A was running a legitimate business was due largely to his studying the history of his great grandfather, Adelbert Samuel Simpson, Jr., the…um…White Sheep of the family. He decided try and emulate this man—and with a lot of luck—remake himself in his Great-Grandfather’s image.

Just as he was about to leave, a long stretch limousine pulled up and two nasty-looking men stepped out…

“Mr. Simpson? We need to have a chat…”

Mr. Simpson? We need to have a chat,” the taller of the two nasty-looking men began—but made the mistake of touching Simpson’s arm—he didn’t finish his sentence as Simpson (who had slimmed-down and bulked-up a bit) uncorked one heckova left-cross and the nasty-looking speaker was knocked-out cold.

If you need to speak with me—make an appointment. I’m kinda-busy right now.” Simpson said as he climbed into his old pick-up and drove off.

Meanwhile—at Silverthorn’s Café… “He doesn’t even know me any more—so it is unlikely he’ll recognize any of you good humans,” Cujo said, with deep sadness in her bark, “Daisy and Pal are with him and for now—we must trust them to do all that is possible to help him.”

“He doesn’t even know me any more—”

But…”

Trust me Chris—I’ve contacted Ringo and Karma—and they will also help as they can. There REALLY is nothing more we can do for the time-being.”

And at Danger Bay Airfield… “He’s driving a large truck-trailer combination—I bet we can find him with an air-search,” Carl rumbled, “With, of course, the help of Flutters.”

I expect we’ll take the ‘slow-movers,’ Carl?”

Right, Sarah,” Mac thought a moment, “Larry, you take Flutters in the de Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver—you wanted that airplane, right?”

“Yes—but not the bird,” Larry laughed

Yes—but not the bird,” Larry laughed—looking at Flutters, who seemingly didn’t hear him.

We seem to have enough pilots & planes—we could use some observers to help look for Boomer.”

It was then they heard the outer door to the hangar open and seconds later, Susie, Wyatt and James walked into the office. Problem solved.

Meanwhile—in Williams’ Station… “Boomer! You’re ALIVE!” Susan exclaimed as Kidd and he walked into Seven Tables, follow closely by Marshal AJ Boardman…

DAD! I thought you were dead!”

“DAD! I thought you were dead!”

Oh—good grief! You all seem to know me—but I don’t recognize any of you.” Boomer, wanting desperately to recognize someone—anyone, sighed, “I am sorry.”

He walked out, climbed into his truck and drove off—followed closely by Kidd.
