25th Century—Kazakii Empire—or what WAS the Kazkii Empire… They were back in their rocketship, and by the stars they could tell they were indeed back in their home galaxy not far from their homeworld, “Foolish earth-canine, we’re home and safe.”
Kolar-King forgot to check his rear view mirror. Closing from behind was a Ularian Star Cruiser—it’s captain recognized the ancient Kazakii rocketship. “Prepare to capture that relic—it will add to our historic collection.”
“And it’s crew?”
“Slaves, what else?
Season 8—Chapter 1—Cartel—Episode 1:
Somewhere north of Devil Track Lake… “Ready to go home? There are big problems in Moosehead County.”
“Just long enough to give the rig to Susie, she can make good use of it at her ranch.”
“What about the cartel?” Cujo was curious—this was not like her Alpha-Jack.
“There are plenty of good people there already—the cartel doesn’t stand a chance. I want to take some time to explore the north woods—with my friends Daisy & Pal.”
“May I tag along?” Kidd asked, “I’m sure George and Ajax would enjoy some exploration time.”
“Very-well, then, it will be as you ask,” Cujo smiled and thumped her tail, “A vacation.”
A short time later—at Susie Blackmon’s Ranch…Susie wasn’t around, so Boomer and Kidd dropped off the rig with one of her ranch hands and then headed for Silverthorn’s Café to grab breakfast and a mug or more of Hiram’s organically and shade-grown, Fair-Trade, extra-dark, Northwoods Roast coffee.
“I really need to get a hitch on my Buick,” Boomer quipped as they drove towards town, “This cab is a little crowded.”
“You could be walking—or riding Pal.”
“Shutting up, now,” Kidd laughed.
At Silverthorn’s Café for coffee…Having scored oats at Susie’s ranch, Ajax & Pal were quite content to remain in the trailer while Kidd, Boomer, Daisy & George did whatever humans & canines did inside those structures.
Chief Deputy Town Marshal and former Reservation Police Sergeant Douglas Cloud were the only customers in Silverthorn’s when Boomer & company arrived. He was quite disappointed when Boomer declined his attempt to deputize him and Kidd, “We need the help, Big Mac also declined—what’s up with you two?”
“Easy Doug,” Hiram smiled, stoically (is this possible?), “Boomer has been through a lot.”
“I need a vacation, Doug. You already have the best people helping—I’m sure.”
“Your memory is back I suspect?”
“It is, thanks to Cujo,” Boomer replied, “Mac declined too?”
“He’s 77 years old, I think he’s finally considering retirement—and Collie’s gently pushing him in that direction.”
“Mac? Retire? REALLY?”
