Sikorsky UH-19B

Airfield BannerPreviously:

He had heard that Susan Miller sold her operation in Williams’ Station (but retaining the name “Seven Tables” for her use), and heard that there was a new restaurant opening here—but he hadn’t made the connection until now.

Wal, I might’s well go on inside fer my coffee-n-breakfast—I hope ol’ Hiram won’t be too offended,” he thought out loud as he headed for the door.

G’mornin’! I’m lookin’ fer sumtin’ ta eat an some coffee.”

You’re my very-first customer!” Susan exclaimed, “Order whatever you wish—it’s on the house!”

Bit-by-bit, Seven Tables began to fill with searchers and searchees and Susan was quite busy—all the while thinking she wanted something more—she wanted to learn to fly.

A celebration at the NEW Seven Tables

“I want to be a full participant in our adventures.”

I want to learn to fly—and to shoot,” she said without preamble surprising just about everyone, “I want to be a full participant in our adventures.”

Meanwhile in a craftilly-hidden cave in a small island—he was making plans…

…He might just mess-up everyone’s day.

Season 8—Chapter 11—Airfield—Episode 9:

We rejoin our story—at the Airfield Seven Tables… “Come with me, Susan.”

Where AJ?”

There’s something in the hanger I want you to see.”

What?”

You wanted to learn to fly, right?”

Yes.”

Lar Farkleberry just completed a major project.”

Really? What?”

A float-equipped Sikorsky UH-19B,” AJ smiled, “And it needs a pilot.”

Sikorsky UH-19B Rescue Copter

“A float-equipped Sikorsky UH-19B,” AJ smiled, “And it needs a pilot.”

But, we have lots of pilots—there’s a room full of them right here.”

Not helecopter pilots.”

Moments later—inside the hanger… There it was. If you didn’t know better; you’d think it was brand-spankin-new!

Wow AJ! Do you think I can figure-out how to fly it?”

I’ll teach you.”

Meanwhile in a hidden cave in a small island—He couln’t understand why his plan didn’t work… His plan was good (he WAS a genius after-all)—but they somehow found a way to foil his great plan. The question was “how?”

He thought about this a long time and finally decided for now, at least, he’d concentrate his next plan. He figured they’d figured-out a way to jam his signal—he began to work on an upgrade to his “Master Interruptor 5000” transmitter.
