…of Season 8.
About an hour later—Chris found Doc McLean in his office… “Oh good, you’re here Chris, let’s get started.”
“How long will this take?”
“Oh—not long, I think you are quite-qualified already,” McLean smiled, “I’ll ask some questions—you’ll answer them—I’ll certify you. It’s really just a formality.
It was as he spoke she noticed a change in Doc’s appearance…
“What’s happening to Doc McLean?” Chris wondered.
Season 8—Chapter 11—Airfield—Episode 12—Conclusion:
About the same time—at the main hanger…[Didja REALLY think I would settle this cliffhanger-business it the first segment?] The ground school training lasted all of an hour (our characters are ALL really-fast learners), and AJ had already ordered custom flight-suits for all the air and surface search & rescue personnel. Just as he and Susan returned to the helecopter to prepare it for her first flight instruction, Boomer arrived at the hanger followed closely by two emergency medical technicians (EMT), Thomas Blackhawk and Osias Smith.
“What brings you here, Pop?” that Boomer was up early was no big surprise to AJ (or anyone else for that matter).
“Miss Daisy & I are going to snoop around that island—IF she gets here soon.”
“Good luck with that,” AJ replied and turning to Susan and the EMTs said, “Let’s get this beast in the air.”
At PRECISELY the same time—at Doc McLean’s office… Chris observed a remarkable transformation—Chris had never seen an on-stage actor’s upgrade…
…Boomer was REALLY slipping!
“Ah! That’s more like it,” Doc McLean quipped, “I’d best get home and see if Karen has been upgraded.”
Thus we conclude Chapter 11—AND Season 8—but our story? To Be Continued…
