Moments later, Security chief Smithers casually looked inside the cell—and found it empty, he quickly hit the intercom button and shouted, “They’re gone!”
Meanwhile—somewhere in 1870’s Nevada…
Season 9—Chapter 3—Disruption—Episode 3—somewhere in 1870’s Nevada we find…AJ leading (LtoR) Susie, Sarah, Jay and Boomer along a hot, dusty trail, “Where are we going—and why? And more importantly—where ARE you two? We’ve about given you up for dead.”
“We were and maybe still are in a cave on the same island we crashed by, Sarah,” AJ replied, “Cujo sprung us for now.”
“Out of the frying pan and into the fire, as they say—dang, it’s hot here,” Boomer was happy to be out of jail—not all that happy with the heat, “Does anyone know why we’re here?”
“Cujo told us we were needed in the 1870s, in Nevada. Without Chris.”
“Yes, Andrew, but she didn’t tell us what—or who we were to help.”
“Maybe those riders need our help,” Susie saw a dozen or so riders riding fast towards them.
“Or not,” Jay quipped as the riders drew their sidearms and began shooting.
“I don’t think those folks want our help,” Boomer quipped as Pal took a hard right and began to gallop—followed closely by the other sentient horses (and coincidently—their riders).
Meanwhile—back at the cave under that particular cave from which our heroes recently escaped… Dr. Yatters had this reaction, “FIND THEM!”
And in a fit of pure rage, he engaged the as yet unimproved disruptor.
Worse yet, at that very moment, Chris and Susan in the Sikorsky, were within the disruptor’s effective range…
