Previously: “I don’t think those folks want our help,” Boomer quipped as Pal took a hard right and began to gallop—followed closely by the other sentient horses (and coincidently—their riders).
Meanwhile—back at the cave under that particular cave from which our heroes recently escaped… Dr. Yatters had this reaction, “FIND THEM!”
And in a fit of pure rage, he engaged the as yet unimproved disruptor.
Worse yet, at that very moment, Chris and Susan in the Sikorsky, were within the disruptor’s effective range…
Season 9—Chapter 3—Disruption—Episode 4—It wasn’t a pretty landing…
but Susan managed a right-side-up—albeit hard—landing on the water just off the island, “Good job Susan!”
“Pure dumb luck, Chris, but thanks.”
“Is everyone alright below?”
“Just shaken—not stirred,” Thomas Blackhawk replied, “we’re all here.”
And it was there they would remain for the immediately foreseeable future…
Meanwhile—not far away in the cave…Dr. Boomer was more than a little peeved, “Yatters! Why did you do that?”
“They somehow escaped!”
“Yes—you IDIOT! Now we must as well,” Dr. Boomer replied, “And somehow find a new place to set-up.”
“I think not, there is no other place. We can lay low again for a while—at least long enough to finish the upgrade.”
Dr. Boomer sighed, “Still a boneheaded move—but you’re right, we have no place else to go.”
Meanwhile—in 1870s Nevada…AJ, Boomer, Daisy, and their horses found themselves alone on the desert. Sarah, Jay and Susie had disappeared, and in the distance the riders were still pursuing them.
“CUJO!” Daisy bayed (once again).
To be Continued…
Never a dull moment! 🙂
