Previously: Sandra waved and got into the old car, she had paid her boss and kept the car, but it was older so she did not drive it all that much. She could walk most places which she loved doing. Ruby waved as she drove off.
She suddenly had a bad feeling.
It was a Red Mustang.
She had not seen it around town before.
Season Ten—Chapter Four—Sandra Peterson—Episode 9:
Going about her day at Pawz, Sandra was excited that the day had arrived when they would meet at Collie’s and discuss the book. She was so giddy and happy she hugged all of the animals twice.
Chris picked her up and Sarah was already in the wagon.
All were in a good mood.
Susie was out-of-town so she could not attend. Sandra was looking forward to getting to know Collie, and Kiwi better.
Of course her favorite sisters rounded out the “Core 9.”
“Are we ready to discuss this book with some measure of intelligence?” Sarah asked.
“Ready as we ever will be,” Chris replied, “I am looking forward to this. We have not been to one of these for a few months.”
The girls passed Wyatt’s car going the opposite direction. He had Boomer, Larry, Jay, and Mac with him.
Boys night out!
Collie let them in and Sandra loved the big but cozy great-room.
“We just passed the boys, Wyatt said they were going to play pool.” said Chris “Yes, replied Collie, “We have the whole cabin to ourselves.”
While they all snacked on Collie’s spread of delightful tidbits they started to discuss the book. The conclusion reached was it was a fascinating book, Ayn Rand’s characters were people they would all like to know. Rand had a way of character development that held the reader.
They did not all agree with the politics of the book.
The time went by so quickly and soon it was time to head home.
After deciding they would stick with Ayn Rand and read The Fountainhead next the ladies headed out to their vehicles yelling their good nights.
None of them noticed the Red Mustang hidden in the shadows.
