Heammawihio-Wakonda

2015 Port of Danger Bay BannerPreviously: That was all it took for Karma to transition to her normal appearance, “Now we can begin to put the REAL WORLD & CYBER WORLD back in their proper balance.”

“Do you know what’s causing this?”

“No Chris, I don’t. I have my suspicions—but we need more than suspicions.”

For the next several hours the discussion went on—ideas offered—ideas rejected. Occasionally, tempers flared—followed by apologies.

Very slowly the scenery began to change—at first no one noticed. It was Paul who became aware first, “Ale? Wine? Coffee, anyone?”

The conversation stopped.

“I’ll have some wine, Paul,” Sarah recovered completely, “If it’s no trouble.”

“Do you have any non-sentient small rodents?” Karma asked.

“Terribly sorry M’Lady,” Paul replied, “I’m afraid you’ll have to hunt.”

If Karma’s beak were flexible, she would have smiled, “Okay—you look as though you’d be delicious.”

Paul wasn’t so certain the bird was kidding.

Season 12—Adventure 4—2015 Port of Danger Bay—Episode 10… “Heammawihio-Wakonda!” Daisy exclaimed.

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!” Paul exclaimed.

Karma BigFeathers transitioned “GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!”

“I thought we’d never see you again!” Sarah Cooper exclaimed.

“Rest easy, Paul,” Karma laughed, “You are far too large a rodent for me to consume for one meal—I like my food warm. I would like a beaker of ale, however.”

Chris was delighted to see Karma again, “Do you have any ideas?”

“I might—but Cujo and I must do a little brainstorming—privately,” she replied, “As the thoughts and concerns everyone here are far too distracting. Cujo? Are you ready?”

“I am, my ancient friend.”

And with that—the two disappeared—along with the beaker of ale Paul had in his hands—JUST the beaker of ale—his hands remained attached.

“Enjoy the ale…” Paul understated.

“I wonder to where, or when, they’ve gone?” Linda thought out loud.

“I guess we’ll have to wait for their return,” Merle rumbled, “Another ale, please, Paul.”

“Coming right up,” Paul replied, “This bigass eagle is good people?”

“Oh yes—she is,” Chris smiled, “She has come to our rescue many times.”

“And with Cujo, our greatest ally on many an adventure,” Sarah added, “Usually assisting Flutters, and making him maintain his focus—instead of wandering off and discussing his mythical “Master.”

The dog-people were off by themselves so their humans did not overhear their conversation…

“I think maybe I know,” Buttons offered, “Remember Schwärzentaube & Pluribux Baldja?

“But, where they were sent—they cannot escape!” Daisy replied.

“They were very clever,” Buttons was certain she was right.

“Y’know, Daisy, Buttons could be on to something—you shouldn’t make any assumptions.”

To be CONTINUED…
