Saskatchewan Part Deux—Begins

Saskatchewan Part Deux BannerPREVIOUSLY: “I don’t have a clue, Sarah,” Boomer replied, “CUJO! Get your furry butt in here!”

“Will all of me do, Alpha-Jack?”

“Why have you yanked us back and where are our dogs and bird-brain?”

“The weekend is over and all of you have things to attend to here in 2015—Flutters, Daisy, Buttons, and Pepper do not,” Cujo bayed, “They’re remaining as placeholders, so time does not advance in 1873 Saskatchewan.”

“Will this work?”

“Yes, Alpha-Jack,” Cujo replied, “Because they are frozen in time, everyone in 1873—world-wide—are as well. You time-travelers are free to attend to your normal routine until next weekend—so get to it!”

Although all missed their furry-friends, they set-about their respective daily routines—happy knowing that at least—this time—Lacy & Christine won’t slip-away.

Will it be that easy?

Season 12—Adventure 7—Saskatchewan Part Deux! Episode 1… Big Mac & Merle McIntyre had a HUGE “Honeydo” list—made by Collie McIntyre—to work their way through. With resigned smiles the two began to chip-away at the list—and hoping this week would pass-by quickly.

It wouldn’t.

Paul and Archie were more than pleased to simply run the Pub, as the business was improving quicker than expected. Hiram and Kiwi lent their expertise in running a successful restaurant/pub—something which the two were most grateful. It helped that the Silverthorns were quite willing to accept the compensation in fine ales & wine.

Sarah and Jay Cooper were glad for the time they could spend at home with the girls. Sarah had her crafts awaiting her as well—and she made use of that time. Jay loved to help Medlar Farkleberry in the care and maintenance of Farkleberry’s classic cars.

Ralph Halvorson had only two appraisals to deal with on Monday, and with real estate sales slow, he and Linda were free to do whatever they wished for the rest of the week.

Wyatt had to work—although he thoroughly enjoyed his job as Danger Bay’s Town Marshal. That left Chris to check on PawZ, and her other financial interests. That took all of Monday.

Chris decided to see what Boomer and the Halvorsons were up to. She met Boomer as he was walking out to his car, “Where are you off to?”

“I’m meeting Cujo for a road-trip,” Boomer replied.

“Oh,” Chris sounded disappointed.

“You know, Chris—Ralph and Linda are preparing to take to the lake on a cruise—I’ll just bet they’d love to have you join them. They asked me, but I have the chance to hang with Cujo…”

Just then Ralph and Linda walked out of their cabin, “Hey Chris! If you’re interested—we have a cabin on the trawler with your name on it!”

Boomer, the Halvorsons and Chris leave townChris jumped at the offer—she and Linda got along quite well, and Ralph? He gets along with everyone.

Too quickly the week passed—and our heroes all drifted back to the Tardis Pub.
