PREVIOUSLY: “Is there no one here who can persuade the dogs?” Linda asked.
“I can,” Med replied, “I knew both Cujo in life, and I still know Daisy. C’mon Jay let’s go lay the smack down on those two stubborn hounds.”
“And I’ve known Pepper most of his long life! I’m coming with you.”
“Welcome aboard, Sarah,” Jay smiled.
Soon they were on the road to Forest City to try to talk Cujo, Daisy, Pepper, Buttons and Flutters out of their plans, “I have an idea.”
“We’re all ears,” Medford replied.
“It has to do with Boomer, let me explain,” Jay said and told them of his plan.
When he finished, all Sarah could say was, “That’s going to cause an uproar.”
“Yes it will,” Jay replied, “But it might just make our ultimate quarry return. It also might get the critters to come in line.”
Episode 11—Scene 2… in Canal Park Duluth… Gina and company checked in to the Comfort Suites Hotel in Canal Park, Duluth; the hotel had been recommended to them by some of their new friends in Minneapolis.
They were enjoying the amenities of the Comfort Suites, and were in no hurry to get back to Moosehead County.
Probably a good thing.
Season 13—Adventure 3—Codgers Return—Episode 12—Scene 1… Canal Park… Aleev Bambi and Gina walked the Canal Park boardwalk; just as everyone who visits the park, “I wonder why we haven’t heard from our guys.”
Aleev Bambi and Gina walked the Canal Park Boardwalk
“Probably because they are dead, or in jail, Aleev,” Bambi replied, “I don’t think we should chance returning just yet; at least until we know for certain.”
“Maybe we should ask the desk clerk,” Gina suggested, “They must get news from Moosehead County here.”
“That can wait, let’s enjoy the weather and watch that big freighter entering the canal,” Aleev suggested, “You know, behave like tourists.”
So that’s just what they did.
They watched the James R Barker enter Duluth Canal, and “OOOO’D” & “AHHHH’D” along with all the other tourists.

They watched another boat enter from the deck of Grandma’s Saloon and Grill as they had lunch (they each had the Bacon – Cheddar Trike $11.79).

After lunch, they crossed the Minnesota Slip Bridge to the Vista Fleet ticket office and purchased a harbor tour.
And then just wandered about Canal Park and stopped at several of the businesses to check-out their offerings.
In short; they behaved like tourists.
Finally, they returned and asked the clerk at the Comfort Suites front desk if there had been any news about the Moosehead County Sheriff.
Finally, they returned
She replied, “Yes, it’s been all over the news; the sheriff has died of his wounds.”
Thus ends Adventure 3, but our story? To be CONTINUED…
