“I agree,” Boomer interrupted Mac, “We’ll engage them outside the cabin, and NCIS will gather-up those who are playing paintball before we get to the cabin—so they may be a bit late to the party.”

“Can we do this without killing anyone?”

“I hope so, Sarah, but I have my doubts,” Boomer replied, “And too, we don’t want to take a chance with Jay’s life—we CANNOT let them get back inside the cabin.”

“I’m ready!” Chris announced as she rested her gun hand on her sidearm, “Let’s get it done!”

Season 13—Adventure 6—KIDNAPPED—Episode 12—Scene 1… Outside the cabin where the Silverthorns were imprisioned… The eight-person Rootin’ Tootinist Posse were in position—facing twelve militiamen armed with assault rifles and shotguns.

“Agreed,” Chris said, “We’re ready.”

KIDNAPPED—Episode 12—Scene 2… Inside the cabin where the Silverthorns were imprisioned… “Get behind the couch, and be ready to run out the door, if I give the word.”

“But, Jay,” Hiram objected, “You’re outnumbered.”

“You’re outnumbered.”

“Aw, heck no—there are eight more of us outside—only facing twelve of them—we got them outnumbered.”

“Jay, there are twenty more playing paintball just a little way away—except they’re not using paintball weapons—they’re using real weapons.”

“We know. NCIS and other ‘paintball players’ are opposing them—with real weapons.”

“How many?”

“Ten, or less.”

Although outnumbered by at least three to one, by the militiamen (and a woman or two), the paintball militia and NCIS agents were armed with real firearms.
