“I have a bullet with his name on it.”

Past Time Danger Bay Banner ©Jack BoardmanSeason 13—Adventure 10—Episode 8, Scene 1… Danger Bay Jail… “I killed him!” Chris exclaimed, “Didn’t I?”

“Yes Chris you did,” Cujo appeared—sort of, “I erred when I told Mr. Hickok that the ‘Crow Rider’ had returned. He is quite dead. This is his twin, Ragnar—who rides a rare black-winged Pegasus. He is the cause for most of the good people of Moosehead County disappearing.”

Cujo arrived at the Jail ©Jack Boardman“Yes Chris you did…”

“Where can we find this Ragnar” Chris asked, “I have a bullet with his name on it.”

“He has left Moosehead County,” Cujo replied, “I just now sensed this.”

“Do you have any idea where he’s headed?” Wyatt asked.

“Yes—I do,” Cujo replied, Deadwood.”

“Oh GREAT!” James Butler Hickok exclaimed, “Before or after my ancestor drew aces and eights?”

“What year is it now?” Cujo grinned, “Three years before. He didn’t arrive in Deadwood until July 1876. I would have thought you knew all there was to know about your namesake.”

As if on cue, Amos “One-Eye” Pearce walked in, “These pretend marshals may leave now—law and order has returned.”

“Gladly!” Debra and Joey exclaimed in unison.

Episode 8, Scene 2… Outside the Danger Bay Jail… The marshals were back together—and heading out-of-town, “We’re kinda new at this ‘Old West’ business—now what?”

“We ride to the railroad station,” Boomer replied, “Where we’ll board the Adventure Train.”

The marshals left Danger Bay ©Jack Boardman“Where we’ll board the Adventure Train.”

“Where are our dog-people?” Sarah Cooper asked.

“Daisy told me they’re soon to be attending the ceremony inducting four additions to the Canine Knights of the Realm per Cujo’s request,” Boomer replied, “We’ll see them again aboard the Adventure Train.”

“What does this mean?” Debra asked.

“It means the Cleo, Coco, Murphy and Kai Braveheart are being given the highest honor a sentient canine may achieve,” Sarah replied, “WolvenKing Ringo is very fussy who he inducts.”

“Okay, newbies—time to swear you in as deputy United States marshals,” District US Marshal Carl McIntyre announced.

“Oh CRAP!” Joey exclaimed, “I gotta be a cop—AGAIN!”

“Yes,” the six foot-six-inch Big Mac looked the five foot-six-inch Joey in the eyes—well, not exactly in the eyes, “And you’ll do a fine job, I’m sure.”

“Will you have my back?”

“Nope,” Mac grinned, “That’s Linda’s job.”

“ME?” Linda did her best to suppress a grin, “Why do I get the job?”

“Because you and Joey see things eye-to-eye.”

“You’re both wise-asses!” Joey had to laugh, “Okay then—so now we track this mysterious rider?”
