As many of you know, I frequently look for and photograph buildings to use in this blog. Many that I’ve found have been adopted for use on this blog.
It seems there was a building on Saint Paul’s West Side that I once photographed—and then promptly lost.
I searched and searched—looking for that building without success—never realizing that in my search I would turn off South Stryker Ave. a block too soon.
On the day I found the building I was on my way to Walgreen’s Drugstore on South Robert St. and decided to photograph #TheWickedTree. As luck would have it—excited as I was about that photo, I made a wrong turn—towards home instead of towards Walgreen’s.
So, I turned on the first street I came to that would lead to South Stryker—and THERE IT WAS on the corner of Stryker & Winifred Street!
Here it is—the original building and the NEW center of Stryker’s Corners!
