They wouldn’t get there

What he didn’t know—that the sheriff had already called his “Rootin’-Tootin’ Posse” to assemble in Forest City—less, of course, those four members piloting the airplanes.

Those four were circling back to make another pass over Strykerville.

Moments later the sound of five 12-cylinder high-performance airplane engines could be heard approaching—again from below the tree-line.

They passed-by lower and slower.

Big Mac made a radio call to Farkleberry, who, as instructed switched his phone to audible at maximum volume: “ATTENTION Larson & James—we can pick your pockets with our machineguns! Lay down your weapons and surrender to Farkleberry—or pay the price.”

After the airplanes were out of sight Larson and James pointed their guns at Farkleberry and Stryker, “Give us your phones—or die right here, right now!”

After collecting the phones, the two drove-off North-East through town and into the deep woods.

Episode 4—Scene 2… On Moosehead CR 65 Northeast of Strykerville… Oliver & Blanch Schmidt were on their way to Strykerville to get groceries and an oil change.

They wouldn’t get there.

Larson and James saw them approaching and knowing they had to get rid of their car—before those damn airplanes came back—pulled onto the shoulder and got out of the car—weapons drawn but concealed behind them.

“Ya know we gotta kill them and hide their bodies and our car.”

“Yeah Curly, just two more notches on our guns.”

“Oliver, pull over, those fellas must be broke down.”

“Ah-yup.”

They pulled over and started walking to the black car.

They never got close as both men revealed their guns. They shot Oliver and Blanch dead.

They wasted little time moving their car and the bodies off the road and driving off in the Schmidt’s truck.

After five miles, they found the gravel road leading to their hideout—deep in the woods.

Their boss was NOT happy with the outcome of James & Larson’s adventure.

“What the HELL did you two nincompoops do?”
