They KNEW they were being watched

Strykerville Banner ©Jack BoardmanSeason 14—Adventure 2—Strykerville—Episode 9—Scene 1… Danger Bay Airfield… The Sheriffs headed out on patrol as assigned by Sheriff Boomer—all were expecting trouble from the Farenholt gang.

None, however, were certain WHERE that expected trouble would occur—and where their hideout might be.

That is unfortunate.

Joey, Debra, and Lacey would be flying high-cover—but not in their fighters. With  experienced helicopter pilots and crews, they each were piloting a Coast Guard Sikorski ‘copter.

They were tasked with searching a designated grid in north, central and south Moosehead County.

They departed Danger Bay Airfield—circling the field in formation.

All three piloting—essentially showing-off. Why not? All three were a quick study.

Episode 9—Scene 2… Chris and Wyatt patrol through Danger Bay… On their way to the most southerly part of Moosehead County, they decide to check-in at Silverthorn’s Café, an informational hub for this part of the county.

They didn’t stay longer than a mug of fine coffee, and too, the Silverthorns had heard no rumors about strangers wandering the roads.

Still, they would patrol the roads and Historic US 61 all the way to Grand Marais and back.

Episode 9—Scene 3… Patrolling to the far southwest part of Moosehead County… Boomer and Jimmy patrolled the back roads in the far southwest—almost to Devil Track Lake.

They were being watched.

They KNEW they were being watched.

The other guys didn’t know they knew they were being watched.

Too bad.

Episode 9—Scene 4… Linda and Ralph visited Strykerville… And found nothing amiss…

The town was quiet—almost too quiet.

They didn’t notice the white car pass by.

Should they have?

Episode 9—Scene 4… Grand Marais… Mac and Sarah went to the address given for “Schmelke’s Cars for Less.”

They found WAY less “Schmelke’s Cars for Less.”“Schmelke’s Cars for Less.”

They found WAY less “Schmelke’s Cars for Less.”

In fact, it appears it was never there.

How can this be?

This ends this Adventure—but our story? To be CONTINUED…

My goodness, that is a lot of territories to cover! We are so good though I know we will sniff them out. Oh, wait where are our police dogs? Love the helicopter picture. 🙂
