“Assemble the Knights-of-the-Realm, and have them ready to come when I call.”

“And our mission?”

Ringo arrived at the Meetingmoot ©Jack Boardman“And our mission?”

“Find my those who are trying to kill my Alpha-Jack.”

“We’ve yet to determine that—somewhere north of here in Cook County.”

“When you call—we will respond,” Ringo replied, “What of Karma?”

“Indeed—include Karma.”

Episode 8—Scene 2… Debra found and tracked the kidnappers… Using her look-down radar, she tracked the gangsters’ route along the northern back roads of Cook County.

As she was flying below the tree line, she didn’t see what they did when they stopped—as she was running low on fuel and had to return to the airfield.

Unfortunately for Sheriff Boomer—so too did the other two ‘copters.

Fortunately—the State Patrol had dispatched all available units into Cook County.

Episode 8—Scene 3… at Farenholt’s Cabin… “The job is done Boss!”

“The sheriff is dead?”

“That is what you wanted, Mr. Farenholt,” Wilcox replied, “As promised, it will appear as though he committed suicide.”

“Any chance you were followed?”

“None whatsoever.”

“Very well,” Farenholt smiled, “There will be a significant bonus included in you next paychecks.”

“Any chance of a vacation?”

“We can work three weeks—starting next week.”

“Thank you, sir!”

Episode 8—Scene 3… Near a gravel road in Cook County… Will Eagle-Talon & James Silverthorn, IV were searching for any sign of Sheriff Boomer’s kidnappers along the back roads of Cook County, when they heard Debra radio she had bingo-fuel (running low)—and had to return to base to refuel.

Jimmy radioed Debra, “Your location co-ordinates, please?”

Debra gave the co-ordinates, and he replied, “We’re close, and will continue our search.”

“Roger that, boys,” She replied, “Good luck!”

A half-hour later, Jimmy exclaimed, “Stop the car! I think I saw the sheriff’s car!”

Eagle-Talon stopped and backed-up—and he saw what looked like the sheriff’s car.

He stopped the car, and the two deputies sprinted to the sheriff’s squad.

The sheriff was behind the wheel.
