“Hubert isn’t my middle name.”

“The ‘Posse’ will be delighted to see you, Collie,” Boomer grinned, “We can always use a new member.”

“They’re back in the 21st Century as all had things to attend to there.”

“But Cujo bends time so our absence is never noticed.”

“She does, but since you three were late in arriving in the 19th Century while the other time-travelers were here, she’s giving you more time—the others may, or may not return while you’re here.”

Episode 1—Scene 3… Forest City Rooming House Office… “Welcome Gentlemen—We’ve been told by Mr. Carstairs that you are the best of the best gunfighters. You stand to make a whole lot of money.”

“That sounds good, what must we do?”

“Kill the entire Silverthorn family.”

Season 14—Adventure 7—COLLISTA—Episode 2—Scene 1… Forest City Rooming House Office… (A meeting attended by Amos Bannon, Lea Bannon, Wm Carstairs, Jason Jones, Hank Jones, Rufus MacLintock & Ade MacLintock)… “Kill the entire family, Lea? REALLY?”

“Yes, Mr. Jones,” Lea Bannon, “The entire family.”

“That’s just asking for trouble—their friends killed a lot of our friends.”

“Those friends have left the county—our spies have reported.”

“Don’t you think they’d return?”

“We’ll be ready for them, Mr. Jones. If you want out—we can arrange that.”

“Define the word ‘out,’ please.”

“Dead-out,” Lea replied, “Does that clear things up for you?”

A shudder clear to his bones enveloped Jones, “Yes ma’am.”

Episode 2—Scene 2… Blufftown RR Station… Mac, Boomer, Collie, & James rode past the RR Station just after the daily train departed and noted the activity going-on around the station—a clear indication this depot was destined to remain active into the 21st Century.

Especially since this is the home of the Adventure Train—a train that is parked, invisible to all but those who regularly depart and arrive on that train.

“Now that I’m part of the ‘Rootin’ Tootin’ Posse,’ will I see the train and its tracks?” James asked.

“Who said you were part of the posse?” Mac asked.

When he saw the crushed expression on the youngster’s face, Mac said, “What say you, Boomer?”

“We could do worse.”

“We don’t accept just anyone—especially one who is not of the 21st Century,” Mac was clearly teasing.

“Carl Hubert McIntyre!” Collie exclaimed, “Let this man be a part—we could bring him to meet his descendants.”

“Hubert isn’t my middle name.”
