“The Dakotas,” He replied, “We have some delightful business opportunities there and in Wyoming.”

“You guys come well-recommended—but trust must be earned. You haven’t done that—yet.”

Aboard Beauregard’s train, he made his choices for team leaders, and shared his plan—unfortunately, GENTLE READER, I have no idea what that plan is—it was not shared with me.

Episode 7—Scene 2—Adventure Train… was crossing a large trestle in northern Minnesota when contacted by Cujo. She contacted Chris and advised her of the location & heading of Beauregard’s train.

“Head north into Alberta and then due west,” she said to Clem in the operations center, “At maximum speed. When we’re north of the Black Hills, turn south. That should get us to Deadwood ahead of Beauregard.”

“Roger that, boss,” Clem replied.

“Joey gets to take lead in all combat!” Boomer exclaimed.

“No—he doesn’t!” Joey said.

Episode 7—Scene 3—An hour later, the Adventure Train arrived in Manitoba… And proceeded west until it turned south towards North Dakota.
