“I’ll have coffee and a menu.”

“Joey gets to take lead in all combat!” Boomer exclaimed.

“No—he doesn’t!” Joey said.

“Does!”

“Doesn’t!”

“Do these two argue like this all the time?” Loren asked.

Boomer and Joey simultaneously replied, “Yes.”

Loren glanced at Debra—who was rolling her eyes.

“Get used to it, Loren.”

Episode 7—Scene 3—An hour later, the Adventure Train arrived in Manitoba… And proceeded west until it turned south towards North Dakota.

The banter by our heroes trailed-off and boredom set-in.

They spent their time discussing plans for when they arrive in Deadwood—and came-up with a plan to spend just a little time in town to find a location, and then concentrating upon setting-up their headquarters.

Season 16—Adventure 1—PURSUIT—Episode 8—Scene 1—Inside Silverthorn’s RR Café… “I believe it’s past-time to pay a visit to Silverthorn’s Café,” Boomer declared.

The rampant boredom felt by his friends—seconded that declaration.

“Hello Hiram-Clone,” Boomer greeted, “I’ll have coffee and a menu.”

“Welcome, Boomer & Company,” The suspected Hiram-clone replied, “Except, Kiwi and I are the real deal—not clones. Our granddaughters are running our operations completely now.”

“That’s right,” Kiwi added, “We’re officially retired and have the freedom to do as we please.”

“We want in on this adventure,” Hiram added, “So, Boomer, you’d better conjure-up some adventure outfits for us.”

“After breakfast,” Boomer replied, “I work better after I’ve been fed.”

Episode 8—Scene 2—Inside Silverthorn’s RR Café… A Half-Hour Later… “You asked—and I delivered,” Boomer smiled—widely, “Now Kiwi-Clone will take care of any customers who may wander-in.”

“That’s great,” Chris added, “But—how will they get around?”

“They’ll fit easily in the Grey Ghost—front bench-seat,” Boomer replied, and added, “We all got new duds.”

“Ah,” Joey quipped, “Dressed for success?”

“For most of us, Joey—for MOST of us.”

“Hmmmmmm…”

Episode 8—Scene 3—Adventure Train parked in Deadwood… The Posse unloaded their cars and stopped at the town marshal’s office where they reported-in and explained their mission, “Oh great. Just what we need—a gang of criminals! OK, I’ll give you all the help I can.”

“We’ll need a place to stay while we’re here,” Chris said, “Any suggestions?”

The marshal grinned, “I just happen own a cabin, just outside of town—it is vacant and for rent, “You’re welcome to use it for as long as you’re here.”

“We’ll take it!”
