“Who, then, will keep an eye on Joey?”

“If I may surmise, Juco,” Smith said, “We mix with the locals as newcomers to Moosehead County and not break the law here—ever!”

“You are correct,” Juco replied, “You each have bank accounts in the Lakes Bank in Grand Marais, so you’ll not need to worry about money.”

Linda Bryant Halvorson returned from her vacation with Ralph—and instantly found herself joining her friends, “Whoa—whiplash!”

“Welcome back Linda,” Chris greeted.

“Thanks—I think,” she replied, “What’s going-on?”

“We’re waiting to hear from Cujo—so, at this point, we don’t know.”

“There are only five of us here.”

“The others returned home to take care of their various needs—the rest of us don’t have lives, apparently,” Chris laughed.

Season 16—Adventure 2—A Game of Chess—Episode 9—Scene 1— “Hey! What just happened?”

“You’re not in Deadwood anymore.”

CUJO!” Chris exclaimed, “Where have you been?”

“Hiya Pup,” Boomer greeted as he gave Cujo a scratch behind her semi-visible ears.”

Cujo couldn’t help herself—her tail became a blur of wag.

“So, Cujo,” Chris asked, “Where are we?”

“Not far from Danger Bay and very-close to where Mr. Beauregard, now known as ‘Robert Smith,’ and his appearance has changed dramatically. He’s here with his fellow escapees, now known as Jack Wood, and Mike Hale, and they too, look quite different.”

“Let’s go get them,” Chris said.

“Hold off on that.”

“Why, Cujo?”

“Because I’ve erased all memory of you guys from Mr. Smith and company—including Juco.”

“And…?” Debra asked.

“They’re going to recruit new gang-members—and you guys NEED a job.”

“What about our Danger Bay friends?”

“Except for the Silverthorns and Farkleberrys, their memories, as well—temporarily. That’s why you’re here instead of your homes.”

“Wyatt’s memory?”

“Dammit!” Chris exclaimed.

“Now’s your chance, Chris,” Debra cracked-wise.

“Let’s go check-out our surroundings,” Joey suggested.

“Enjoy the view,” Cujo said as she faded from sight.

Episode 9—Scene 2—Outside the Cabin… “Whoa! Look at that view!” Linda exclaimed.

“Just think,” Joey cracked, “Our enemies have that same view.”

“What a buzz-kill, Joey!”

“You’re welcome, Debra.”

“I want everyone to spread-out and visit every bar and restaurant in the county starting with Danger Bay, Moosehead City, and Lakeview City.”

“Okay, then—let’s go!” Debra exclaimed.

“Each by themselves—we have a lot of territory to cover.”

“Wait!” Boomer exclaimed, “Who, then, will keep an eye on Joey?”

“Joey,” Chris replied.

Thus, ends this Adventure—but our story? To be CONTINUED…

My chance for what Debra? I always want Wyatt to remember me and I would never cheat on him! Nice to have the same view as the bad guys. We keep foiling the bad guy’s plans and I am not sure exactly what it is their planning on doing. What is the end game?
