“What can you tell me about any new check-ins?”

Killers Banner ©JBoardmanPreviously: Donna Drews, Sharon Clark, Kim Swanson, Karen Claus, Amy Strange, and Radiant-Dove White Eagle all signed-in to the motel with very well done fake identification cards.

After parking their cars in the lot behind the motel.

They claimed to have arrived by taxi—the clerk didn’t question that. He simply wasn’t paid enough to care—hence the name of the motel.

“Let’s wait an hour or so,” Donna Drews, their leader suggested, “Then Sharon will rent a car from the motel, and leave for Albert Lea and obtain new registration and license plates for our ‘new’ cars.”

“And we’ll just lay-low here,” Radiant-Dove White Eagle, added, “Boring—but necessary.”

Sharon rented the car from the motel. Ten minutes later—she was on her way.

Season 16—Adventure 7—Killers—Episode 3—Scene 1… Moosehead County Sheriff’s Office… “Park your car in our lot,” Andy said, “And pick-up your unmarked squads and spread-out through the county.”

With that Linda Debra and Chris left the Sheriff’s Office and Debra parked her car in the back.

When Debra returned—the three decided what part of the county each would cover—once that was done, Linda Debra & Chris left the Sheriff’s Office & headed out.

Chris headed first to tiny Burris Township—the smallest village, and in the farthest away from Moosehead City.

Episode 3—Scene 2… Burris Notel Motel… Chris checked the Notel Motel in Burris Township—The clerk was less than helpful.

“I ain’t allowed to tell you nuthin’ without a warrant,” He replied, “You got a warrant?”

“You’re mistaken—I’m not asking anything that requires a warrant,” She replied, “But—if you insist, I can arrest you for obstruction.”

“Ok, OK!” He replied, “Just some women here to look at locations to move their catering business, is all.”

“Let me see their information, please.”

He went to his computer to check—and as luck would have it—the ancient computer wouldn’t work, “I’m sorry, deputy—the damn computer-machine is down.”

Episode 3—Scene 3… Inside the Moosehead County Sheriff’s Office… “Thanks for answering my call,” Sheriff Andy Silverthorn greeted Joey and Boomer as they walked into the office.

“What can we do for you, Andy?” Joey asked.

“I want you to check all the car lots in the county, to see if anyone has purchased more than one car.”

“Okay,” Boomer replied, “Your command is our wish.”

Andy laughed.
