“Are we there yet?”

And Boomer immediately uploaded the photo to Photogram© for everyone to see.

Which, of course, was seen by Neil S Pettersen at his HQ, who exclaimed, “Oh—they are so DEAD!”

“Agreed,” his brother, William said.

Episode 6—Scene 3… the Arrest of Joey & Boomer…

“Hello fellas, I’m Officer Dunlop.”

“We surrender,” Joey laughed, “We did the deed.”

“We are being watched, so we’ll put-on a good arrest show.”

They were frisked, cuffed, and put in the open pick-up truck box, “Sorry about that.”

“When can we pick-up my car?” Boomer asked.

“Cujo says never—the writer of this cheesy fiction told her you’re getting a new car,” Officer Dunlop replied.

“Not another Ford, I hope,” Joey laughed.

“Cujo knows what I like—so go blow a dead goat.”

“So, apparently, does the writer of this cheesy fiction.”

“Yup.”

Season 17—Adventure 1—Pettersen—Episode 7—Scene 1… Northbound on CR 61/Scenic Historic US 61… “This is way more comfortable than your RS.”

“That’s because it doesn’t have factory leather,” Boomer replied, “Aftermarket leather is softer and more-supple than factory leather. Better yet, the automatic tranny is NOT clutch-driven.”

“Yeah—but still a Ford!”

“Thank goodness!”

“HA!” Joey exclaimed, “I wonder what the sheriff has in store for us.”

“He said we’re not needed,” Boomer replied, “We can attend to business.”

“Oh GOOD! I have some ideas for new recipes at my new business.”

“Thank goodness!”

“You’re repeating yourself.”

“Thank goodness!”

“So, really, what are going to do when we get back?”

“Get a new place to live. A place where T and I can live comfortably, and where I can store my car collection.”

“Have you found a place?”

“We think so. T and Cam Farkleberry found a place and are waiting for me to look at it.”

“Cool.”

Episode 7—Scene 2… Southbound on CR 61/Scenic Historic US 61… “How long ‘til we get there, Chris,” Linda radioed.

“Another hour I suspect.”

“I’m hungry,” Debra’s stomach was complaining, “Let’s find a place to eat.”

“Are we there yet, are we there yet, are we there yet?” Linda teased.

Grinning, Debra joined-in, “Are we there yet, are we there yet, are we there yet?”

“I know a place—the Black Woods Grill and Bar,” Linda said, “And it’s right on our way.”

Episode 7—Scene 3… Outside the Black Woods Bar & Grill… “Now—we ARE there!”

“They have a large menu—chock-full of yummy stuff,” Linda said, “Ralph and I have stopped several times.”

“What are we waiting for?”

“You, to open the door, Debra.”
