Chris & Wyatt’s Wedding!

Everyday Life Banner ©JBoardmanPREVIOUSLY: “We DO need to upgrade our network—the Cook and St. Louis County sheriffs constantly give me crap about our network,” Silverthorn replied, “How long will the upgrade take?”

“Do you want it done quickly—or correctly?”

“Correctly, of course.”

“Two weeks—tops”

“That’s all?” Silverthorn laughed.

“I could make it take a whole lot longer—if you’d like.”

Episode 4—Scene 3… Still at Silverthorn’s Café… “Oh, CRAP!” Boomer exclaimed, “Don’t we have to get your café set-up for Chris & Wyatt’s wedding reception?”

“Wait—WHAT?” Joey replied, laughing, “They’re getting married? Who knew?”

“How long will it take?”

“Two, maybe three hours, give or take twenty-hours,” Joey replied.

“Ah—there is plenty of time to Git-‘R-Done, then.”

“Ya THINK?”

“We’d better get going.”

Season 17—Adventure 2—Everyday Life—Episode 5—Scene 1… Two Weeks Later… The bride, Chris Shouse, and Groom Wyatt Earp, IV, Linda Bryant Halvorson, the Matron of Honor, Carl McIntyre, the Best Man, Boomer Boardman, Joey Jerkovich, Debra Wennen Miller, Dr. James Red Cloud, Dr. Sandra Peterson, Mandy Peterson, Gypsy & Liam McOsker were all at the wedding.

The Reverend Thomas “Tag” Guudelender was the officiant, “We are gathered here today to join Chris Shouse and Wyatt Earp the Fourth, in marriage. If there is anyone here to object to this joining?”

After a short pause, He continued, “You begin your vows, Chris.”

“I, Chris Shouse, take thee, Wyatt Earp, the Fourth, to be my wedded husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, until death do us part, I pledge myself to you.”

“Wyatt?”

“I, Wyatt Earp, the Fourth, take thee, Chris Shouse, to be my wedded wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, until death do us part, I pledge myself to you.”

“Having heard you vows,” Guudelender continued, “I now pronounce you husband and wife. Congratulations, Wyatt and Chris Earp!”

Episode 5—Scene 2… Outside Joey’s Reception Hall… Everybody who is anybody in the Port of Danger Bay arrived at the reception hall.

Parking was, in a word—difficult, to say the least.

But—yet they persisted.

It was testimony to the popularity of both Chris & Wyatt among the citizens of Moosehead County.

Episode 5—Scene 3… Inside Joey’s Reception Hall… Linda Bryant Halvorson, Carl McIntyre, Boomer Boardman, Joey Jerkovich, Debra Wennen Miller, Dr. James Red Cloud, Dr. Sandra Peterson, Mandy Peterson, Gypsy & Liam McOsker, Hiram & Kiwi Silverthorn, Medlar and Camille Farkleberry, Sheriff James Silverthorn, and many others crowded into Joey’s hastily transformed café.

“Wow Joey!” Chris Earp exclaimed, “This place looks perfect—thank you so much.”
