“Take all the time you need…”

Everyday Life Banner ©JBoardmanPREVIOUSLY: Hiram Silverthorn was at that moment at his café and visiting with, among others, Sigsted’s other target: Farkleberry—what a coincidence!

“Your VUE is all ready for you, Boomer.”

“Didja make it faster than Joey’s Challenger?”

“I made it more powerful—but faster?” Lar replied, “Off-road, yup. On road, nope—it’s just not aerodynamically possible.”

“Whew!” Joey laughed, “Now—do you think you can make my military Dodge Power-Wagon as fast as Boomer’s VUE?”

“Not on the road, but definitely off-road.”

“We’ll meet you at your garage, Lar,” Boomer said—grinning at Joey, he added, “Will that old Dodge get us there?”

“For sure it will get me there—getting you there might be a problem.”

“Good day everyone, I’m Jonathan Snideley. My wife and I are new to Danger Bay and we’re sort-of making the rounds of the businesses to introduce ourselves.

Season 17—Adventure 2—Everyday Life—Episode 8—Scene 1… A second letter arrived…

Hi Again,

Well, this has been most enlightening visiting Deadwood! I can almost feel the spirits of the people we have met and hung out with in the past.

Some things I did not know is Wild Bill was shot in the back of the head playing poker here in a bar in Historic Deadwood and is buried here.
Calamity died broke and an alcoholic. She died 27 years after Bill and
insisted on being buried next to Bill in the Mt. Moriah Cemetery.

Wyatt found out some things about his ancestor Wyatt Earp in Deadwood:

1877: Spring – Wyatt and Morgan Earp arrive in Deadwood. Legend has
it Bullock told the famous lawman his services weren’t needed.
Wyatt Earp makes money hauling wood and riding shotgun to guard the goods. The Earps only stayed a short time as the Dodge City, Kansas Times reports Earp’s return on July 7, 1877, and was urged to rejoin that town’s peacekeeping force.

We will be headed home soon, have missed you all but not too much!

Episode 8—Scene 2…At Farkleberry’s Garage… “It’s all ready, Boomer.”

“Thanks, Lar, I can’t wait to put Gandalf through his paces!”

“I’ll leave the Power Wagon here for you to work your magic.”

“Good, Joey,” Farkleberry replied, “Give me a week to get it done.”

“Take all the time you need—I don’t drive it all that much,” Joey replied, “The Challenger is way more fun.”

Episode 8—Scene 3… At Silverthorn’s Downtown Café… Debra and Linda were enjoying another fine meal when Hiram Silverthorn, Jr. and his nephew, James arrived, “Hi, fellas”

“Good day, ladies, how are you,” Jimmy replied.

“Honestly?” Linda replied, “We were just discussing those new people in town, and they’re giving us rather bad vibes.”

“You too, huh?” Jimmy replied, “Uncle Hiram and I have been discussing the same thing.”

Thus—ends this Adventure… Our Story Will Be Continued…

I am glad we are all on the same wave-length about these people. I do not like the fact that the wife is working anywhere near the kids and should their kid be with them? Thoughts to ponder!
