“I LOVE it when a plan comes together”

“May I see the photos?” Chris Earp asked.

“Sure, Chris,” Linda replied, “This is the best one.”

“Nice,” Chris commented, “I like it.”

Episode 3—Scene 2… A day earlier, inside Braddock’s New HQ… Now modified to Mr. Braddock’s specifications… Braddock met his new crew—all had been vetted by Juco—but all weren’t what both Braddock AND Juco thought they were. Sarah Jones-Boardman, and her husband Alfonso “Lurch” Jones, were, in fact, spies planted by the more powerful Cu-Cu.

They listened—and recorded the entire conversation.

They would send the information to the Posse as soon as it was safe to do so.

“You are all here,” James J. Braddock said, “Because you’ve all been carefully vetted by Juco—and he simply doesn’t make mistakes.”

Both Sarah and Alphonso choked-back their desire to laugh out loud.

Season 17—Adventure 8—The Fugitive 21st Century—Episode 4—Scene 1… Inside Braddock’s New HQ…  Nobody noticed that two of their number had vanished (Cu-Cu saw to that AND erased their memories of them being at the meeting).

“You, gentlemen, have reservations at Benson’s Motel,” Braddock explained, “You’re to check-in there and await further instructions—keep a low-profile.”

“You don’t want us to look for more recruits?”

“If you can, Mr. Valdez, without drawing too much attention—yes.”

“We can go out individually so as to avoid drawing anyone’s curiosity,” Valdez replied.

“Very-well, Mr. Valdez, that will be your assignment,” he replied, “You KNOW the penalty for screwing-up, right?”

“Yes sir.”

“Jane, Franklin, and I will establish ourselves as internet wi-fi specialists here under the name, ‘Braddock Enterprises,’ offering internet options to the good folks of Moosehead County,” Braddock explained, “So it is vital that you do NOT return here for any reason—got that?”

They all nodded in agreement and left for the motel.

Episode 4—Scene 2… Valdez and Company at Benson’s Motel… Valdez and company checked-in to the motel and were outside the office—discussing their next move, “I figure we ought to explore the area.”

“I agree, Jesus,” Jason McLain replied, “Two-man teams?”

“Yes,” straw-boss Valdez replied, “We’ll leave the motel at half-hour intervals.”

Episode 4—Scene 3… Inside the Posse HQ… Rubbing her hands together—and with a wicked smile—Chris Earp said, “I LOVE it when a plan comes together”
