“What if he changed his name?”

Revenge Banner ©J. BoardmanPREVIOUSLY: Willie McGraw met with the manager Blanch Davis, and his prior (to prison) experience in the food-service industry sealed the deal.

As he prepared to leave—Blanch walked-out with him, “I think you’ll be an asset to us here.”

“Thank you, Ms Davis.”

“Please—call me Blanch.”

“Yes ma’am,” he cracked-wise, “I’m still in need of housing—that address I gave you is temporary—I need my own place.”

“Ah, my sister has a room for rent at her place—I’ll give you the address.”

An hour later he had a place to live.

The story was the same for every man William Smith hired.

Episode 3—Scene 3… Inside the Posse HQ… Our heroes returned—and reported they’d come-up empty in their combined efforts to find any evidence of a threat to Moosehead County.

“I can’t believe that James Braddock has abandoned his effort to take-over the county.”

“Agreed, Chris,” Big Mac said, “But—I imagine it’s possible I suppose.”

“Unlikely,” She replied, “But—we’ve found nothing—yet.”

Season 17—Adventure 10—REVENGE—Episode 4—Scene 1… Inside the Posse HQ… “What if he changed his name?” Mac asked

“I should have thought of that,” Chris replied, “We’ll have to change our focus—perhaps to looking-for newcomers to Moosehead County.”

“There’s a thought,” he replied, “But—we must be careful with our investigation and not tip our hand.”

“Maybe we should include nearby areas of Cook County?”

“Good idea,” Mac replied, “Send Boomer & Linda.”

“On it,” Chris replied.

Episode 4—Scene 2… Downtown Flyspeck, Cook County… “How come you get to be boss?”

Linda & Boomer arrived in Flyspeck ©J. Boardman“How come you get to be boss?”

“Who said I was boss, Linda?”

“You’re driving.”

“Exactly—so you can plan,” Boomer laughed, “Instead of driving.”

“Gotcha, let’s check-out the bar.”

“Do you think we can find a place to park?’

“It may take a while Cuzzin,” Linda laughed.

Episode 4—Scene 3… Inside the Flyspeck Bar… Twenty minutes earlier… Travis Johnson scanned the bar—and determined it was a good choice—there were several men who looked to be unemployed.

“Dammit, Clyde, I’m tired of getting rejected every time I apply for a job!”

“Me too Ralph,” Clyde replied, “I’d do almost anything if I just got the chance.”

“I couldn’t help overhearing you fellas,” Travis said, “Perhaps I can help you.”

Our story will be Continued…
