“Okay—so where’s the bomb?”

Revenge Banner ©J. BoardmanPREVIOUSLY: Chris & Wyatt arrived at Smith Engineering, “It’s an ugly building.”

“Yes, it is, Chris,” Wyatt replied, “Filled with ugly acting people, I expect.”

“We really have to go inside?”

“Maybe someone will come outside—I suspect they have cameras aimed at us right now.”

“I’m sure,” Chris laughed, “We should wave.”

They waved—laughing.

Nobody came to the door for some time.

Yet—they persisted ringing the doorbell.

STILL nobody opened the door.

“Should I place the time-bomb?”

“That might get their attention,” Wyatt replied, “Then again—maybe not.”

The door opened.

Season 17—Adventure 10—REVENGE—Episode 9—Scene 1… Inside Smith Engineering… “Okay—so where’s the bomb?” Janet Smith asked.

Ann (Chris) & Jerry (Wyatt) inside Smith Engineering ©J. Boardman“Okay—so where’s the bomb?”

“We must have left it in Flyspeck,” Ann (Chris) replied, “Those things can be dangerous.”

Smith appreciated a sense of humor in her assassins, “Well played!”

“Your people in Flyspeck aren’t all that bright,” Jerry (Wyatt) added.

“You’re right,” Smith replied, “Taking them out—permanently—is your first assignment.”

“How soon?” Ann (Chris) asked.

“Today would be good.”

“We’re on it,” Jerry (Wyatt) replied (I’m pretty-sure I don’t have to identify “Jerry & Ann” any longer—RIGHT, GENTLE READER™ ?)

Ann & Jerry left immediately for Flyspeck and along the way asked for the assistance of Cu-Cu.

Cu-Cu replied almost immediately, “I’ll make them disappear—as if they never existed in Flyspeck. They won’t be harmed—but will have an honest life in Lincoln, Nebraska.”

“Oh—GOOD,” Ann replied, “A much better solution—but what about the others in Flyspeck?”

“Ah—they will witness the explosion to give you creds—only your targets will evaporate in the explosion.”

“Thank you.”

Word spread quickly—and the fact that nobody else was killed.

When word reached Janet Smith—she was more than a little impressed. She realized that the fact nobody else died was a big plus, “Careful assassins are hard to come by,” she thought, “These two will be an asset.”

Episode 9—Scene 2… Inside the Posse HQ…  “I’m bored,” Debra complained, “Can’t we go out and play?”

“What Debra said,” Linda agreed, “I’m bored to tears.”

“We could take a vacation,” Joey suggested.

“You’re ALWAYS on vacation,” Debra cracked.

“And your point?”

Mac interrupted—laughing, “KIDS! Stop whining!”

“I’m heading to the farm—just try and stop me.”

“Got room for more?” Joey asked.

“We have room for everyone,” Boomer replied, “Except Joey.”

“Hey!” Joey exclaimed.

“Kidding—we even have a stream you can fish.”

“YES! I’m in!
