“Okay folks—now to get to work.”

The Search BannerPREVIOUSLY: “Sure,” the salesman replied, “We took it in trade, along with four other cars; they purchased six new Chevrolets, all the trade-ins were in good shape.”

“Thank you,” Mac replied, “It sounds like a good deal all around.”

“Are you interested in the Caddy?”

“No,” Mac rumbled, “We’re good—just curious is all.”

As they drove-off—they held a meeting via their respective communicators, “Are you thinking what I’m thinking?”

“Yes, Mac,” Joey replied, “That we’ve found where Big-A is hanging-out.”

“Time to find lodging?” Linda asked rhetorically.

Episode 8—Scene 2… Inside Big-A’s Deadwood hotel-room… “Well, gentlemen,” Allen Stanley Simpson began, “We’ll lay-low for the next two weeks or so.”

“And do what?” Clive Jackson asked.

“And do what?”

“Go out and enjoy Deadwood—as if you’re tourists.”

“And stay out of trouble,” Fred Prokup added, “Regardless of any provocations we may experience.”

“Well said, Mr. Prokup,” Big A replied.

Season 18—Adventure 2—SEARCH— Episode 9—Scene 1… Inside the Posse’s Hotel Operations Room… “Okay folks—now to get to work.”

“Easy for you to say, Mac,” Boomer laughed.

“I’ll start checking hotel & motel bookings,” Linda volunteered, “to see if Big-A is checked-in.”

“Chris & I will drop into some of the gambling operations.”

“Good—Boomer?”

“AJ and I will play tourists and walk around town.”

“Good idea,” Mac replied, “Everyone not assigned should do the same.”

“That sounds like fun,” Debra replied, “Deadwood has a lot to offer tourists.”

Episode 9—Scene 2… An Hour Later Inside Big A’s Hotel Room… “I just learned that the Posse™ has arrived in Deadwood, Mr. Prokup,” Allen Simpson said, “You did register this room in your name—right?”

“Right,” Prokup replied, “May I assume you’ll be departing?”

Inside Big A's Hotel Room“May I assume you’ll be departing?”

“I am,” Simpson replied, “I want you to keep the others from breaking any laws and just continue enjoying their ‘vacation,’ as they have been. I’ll be in touch with my new location.”

“Money to pay the help?”

“Already in your account.”

“So—this Posse™ is THAT dangerous?”

“They are, perhaps, the most dangerous of anybody, anywhere, involved with law-enforcement.”

“We should tell our folks to continue enjoying Deadwood—and remain as tourists.”

“Exactly right,” Simpson replied, “I’ll get in touch with you when I’m settled.”

Simpson left Deadwood for good—I wonder to where, GENTLE READER™?

Thus Ends this Aventure… Our story will be Continued…
