“You don’t ask for much…”

Hopkins BannerPreviously: Cooper had to laugh at Hopkins’ response, “I guess I did.”

“May I offer you, Captain, our resumés?” Missy Smith, the leader of the group, asked.

“You have resumés?” Hopkins laughed, “Very-well—give them to Sergeant Wilson.”

“Just so you know, Captain,” Smith continued, “We work best undercover—not attired in any form of uniform.”

“Undercover?” Cooper snorted a laugh, “So that’s why you came-on to me.”

“Oh no, Mr. Cooper,” She laughed, “That was sincere.”

“Too much information,” Captain Hopkins rejoined, “It’s time to plan.”

Meanwhile Inside the Witness Protection Center Building 2 Lobby… Allen Stanley Simpson had a visitor—a very-dangerous visitor.

“It’s about time you showed-up.”

“I’m always careful about where and when I go anywhere—you know that, Al.”

“I appreciate that, Tim,” Simpson replied.

“So—what do you have for me?”

“I have an operation for you to consider,” Simpson replied, “And it won’t be an easy one.”

Timothy McClintock simply smiled in reply.

Season 18—Adventure 5—HOPKINS—Episode 8—Scene 1 Inside the Witness Protection Center Building 2 Lobby 20 Minutes Later…  “We have decided to leave here,” Simpson said, “I want you to eliminate Captain Hopkins and his entire operation.”

“You don’t ask for much,” McClintock replied, “And are you sure leaving is a good idea?”

“We believe so,” Erik O’Hara replied, “We have a safe place to be—courtesy of the ‘Posse’.“

“Do you trust them?” McClintock replied.

“Yes, I do,” he replied, “They consider me a minor thorn in their collective sides.”

“Very-well, we can handle that.”

Episode 8—Scene 2—A half-hour later at the Posse HQ™ … Simpson and O’Hara arrived…

“Hello, Big-Ass,” Boomer greeted, “What may we do for you?”

“Save my life,” He replied with a laugh, “The enemy you know.”

“Who, exactly, wants you dead?” Chris Earp asked.

“Captain Hopkins.”

“Oh—great!” Chris exclaimed, “So—let get this straight—Hopkins has recovered from our last encounter?”

“Yes—and he wants to kill me.”

“A really tough choice,” Boomer cracked wise, “Okay, we’ll help you.”

“You know?” Chris rejoined, “This could be fun.”

Episode 8—Scene 3— Inside Hopkins’ Cabin… “Okay, folks,” Hopkins said, “We are ready to take-on the so-called posse.”

“You think?” Alfred Cooper asked.

“Yes,” he replied, “They’re not always together—our new female members are not known to them.”
