“How long has it been?”

Modern LoungePREVIOUSLY: “Next is to give you an assignment,” Keller replied, “But not in this century.”

“The 21st Century,” Simpson replied, “Juco is, at our request, sending us all to the 21st Century.”

“Juco can do that?”

“Of course,” Keller replied, “He’s got mad skills.”

“What will we do when we get to the 21st Century?”

“We’ll open an upscale lounge catering to the very-wealthy,” Simpson replied, “With a back-room set-up with all manner of gambling opportunities.”

“I LIKE that,” Jay replied, “I need to pick-up a few things before we leave.”

“Make it quick,” Keller said, “We need to leave soon.”

“Oh—I’ll be quick—for an old man!”

SALOON, Episode 3—Scene 3 … Inside the Posse HQ™ … “It appears I’ll be going to the 21st Century,” Jay announced as he entered the Posse HQ™, Keller & Simpson informed me that’s where we’re going.”

“Wonderful!” Mac exclaimed, “I’ll contact the 21st Century Silverthorn family & ask them to watch-over you—and let Karma Bigfeathers know so she can watch-over you.”

“Aren’t you coming too?”

“No—this is only ‘Episode 3’ of this ‘Adventure’—we have to stick around for a few more episodes.”

“And,” Boomer added, “It’s already confusing me!”

Season 18, Adventure 6B, MODERN LOUNGE, Episode 4B—Scene 1 … Jay Merton arrived in 21st Century Danger Bay … Jay went directly to Silverthorn’s Café where he met with Kiwi and Hiram Silverthorn.

“Jay Merton!” Hiram exclaimed, “How long has it been?”

Modern Lounge

“How long has it been?”

“Too long, my friend,” Jay replied, “Far too long.”

“We’re so glad you’re back, Jay,” Kiwi said, “Will you be here long?”

“Thanks, Kiwi,” Jay replied, “I’m not sure—I’m searching for a upper-class lounge to purchase.”

“There’s one just two doors down,” Hiram replied, “Between Farkelberry’s Fine Fish & Moosehead Real Estate Services.”

“It went out of business?”

“Yes, Jay,” Hiram replied, “It wasn’t managed very well; the owner invested the profits only in his personal account—not in the business or its employees.”

MODERN LOUNGE, Adventure 6B, Episode 7—Scene 2 … Inside the 21st Century Lounge … Jay toured the lounge with Erik Ohara of Moosehead County Real Estate.

“It’s in good shape.”

Inside the lounge

“It’s in good shape.”

“It is, Jay,” O’Hara replied, “The owner was incompetent, but not a slob.”

“So, it would seem, how much does he want for the place?”

“He has an offer on the place already—but is holding-out for a better offer.”

“Who’s his agent?”

“Me,” O’Hara replied, “But the buyer seems a bit (how shall I say this?) crooked.”

“It would be wrong of you accept a lower offer, then?” Jay asked.

“Yes—however if you offer a dollar more?”

“Is that ethical?”

“It’s borderline—but, if you have a standing-offer of a dollar more—what else can I do?”

Our story will be Continued …

Borderline Ethics 😂🤣😂 I may have been retired from Real Estate for a minute but you managed to bring in Dual Agency and very borderline ethics and the reason a lot of places do not allow dual agency all into one story 😂🤣😂
