…my Alpha-Jack stays home!
Today is Sunday and my Alpha-peopledog Jack does not go to “work!” I don’t exactly know what “work” is, but I know it keeps him away for hours and hours and hours.
He’s home today, not out running “errands,” I have no idea what “errands” are, but I know what running is. I like to run. I know running. My Alpha-Jack does not run—often or long—if at all.
He walks. Sometimes he walks with me. I like taking walks with my Alpha Jack. I like taking walks with my Alpha-T too. Except sometimes Alpha-T stops to take “pictures.” I don’t know what “pictures” are. When she stops to take pictures, sometimes she ties me to a park bench. I hate being tied to a park bench when I’m s’posed to be walking.
When I walk, I sniff. I like to sniff. Sniffing is like reading a newspaper. I don’t read newspapers. I sniff. I walk and sniff at the same time. I bet you don’t walk and read at the same time.
I’m not walking today. I am sniffing today. I sniff every day. But I’m not walking and sniffing today. I’m not walking and sniffing today because it is very cold. It is so cold I might freeze my nose if I walked and sniffed today.
It is -10ºF with a 16mph wind making it feel like -30ºF (Alpha-Jack told me to tell you this—I really don’t know what those numbers mean—I don’t even know what numbers are). I just know it’s freakin’ cold outside!
Oh, before I forget (I forget stuff, like I forget to stay off the furniture), Tomorrow is Danger Bay!

Daisy, maybe you should patent a nose warmer – one that could still let you sniff but could keep your nose nice and warm.

Hi Daisy! I’m glad you kept nice and warm yesterday! We were at about 70, which means your nose would have been purrfect while outside sniffing! Bow Wow!! Tell your dogpeople you’re ready for a visit to my yard 🙂

Yes an English Chocolate… They are shorter and stockier than the American breed with a box face. (and a block head)
